The Day Complex

The Day Complex represents an assemblage of five historic buildings at the center of New London, immediately adjacent to the Amtrak Station, a ferry terminal servicing the Hamptons and a brand new Coast Guard Museum anticipated in 2025. Three of the buildings served as home base for the Day Newspaper until 2024, where thousands of newspapers were printed daily and distributed across Eastern Connecticut. Two of the buildings were originally designed as the New London Savings Bank branch and an associated office building. High Tide acquired the buildings in in 2023 and 2024 and will be developing a mixed-used project with residential, hospitality and commercial uses that will celebrate the deep history of the buildings and are anticipated to serve as the “fulcrum of New London’s downtown renewal” (The Day, David Collins).
